9/11 First Responders Service
     Sunday,  September 7 at 10 a.m.

On Sunday, September 7, at 10 a.m., Holy Trinity (87th St and Sayre in Burbank) will host a special 9/11 memorial service, “God’s Grace at Ground Zero.” Pastor Steve Lee served as a chaplain in New York after 9/11, for the crew that recovered the Ground Zero Cross that is now preserved as part of the new 9/11 Memorial in New York. As part of this memorial service, he will show PowerPoint pictures of the cross recovery, relate his experiences working with first responders and recovery workers in the days following 9/11. He will also recap his recent August trip to New York to tour the newly opened 9/11 Memorial with the widow of Ground Zero co-worker and friend, John Siciliato. John died in 2006 from Ground Zero exposure complications.
All are invited to attend this deeply meaningful 9/11 memorial event. Local fire, police and EMS are also invited to bring emergency vehicles and equipment for display in the church parking lot during this special event (emergency vehicles can be parked in the church lot any time after 9 a.m.).
